The Unwritten #3 Sells Out!

We just heard today that The Unwritten #3 has sold out at the distributor. That makes sell outs for #1, #2, and #3! Sure, it took a bit longer for 3, but we’re not complaining. Response to the series continues to be outstanding, and the reviews for the current issue (#5) have been amazing. Those first five issues will be collected in the first trade (out in early January) and it sounds like the advance orders for that are stellar too.

I can’t begin to tell you how fun it is working on this series. Mike and I are just going over his outline for the second year issues and the I can honestly say the book is just going to be better and better as it develops. Now I’ve got to go back into hiding and ink some pages.

Thanks to all of you who’ve helped to make The Unwritten a hit for Vertigo. Looks like we might have a long healthy run ahead of us and the luxury to tell the story exactly the way we want to!
